Started by 2 moms with backgrounds in early childhood education, The Preschool Toolbox offers thematic unit eBooks each with at least 20 pages of activities and ideas and 25 PDF files ready to be printed and used with your child. These files include worksheets and games, each catering to a variety of ages and readiness levels. The eBooks are geared towards 3-5 year olds, but many of the activities offer ideas to use with both younger and older children.

We have been helping teach preschool children for many years, but have always struggled with how to share those “trusted, tried-and-true” learning activities that we know work well with young children. Overtime, we have created valuable learning tools that contain information for teachers, childcare providers, and parents at home who want fun and educational activities for
their young children.
About Darla...
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Education from Eastern Illinois University. I have taught children ages birth – 5 in a licensed Family Childcare Home for the past 25 years. I have 6 children of my own and am passionate about Early Learning!
About Tracy...
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a dual certification in Birth to Age 5, both regular and special Education. After moving to Illinois, I received my teaching license for Pre-k – Third Grade, and also became certified as an LBS1 educator. I have taught in a full-inclusion Pre-K program
for 10 years. I have 2 young children of my own and this site is a labor of love for me!
