Boost Your Business Finalists

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Boost Your Business contest!  I first want to apologize for the "thumbs down" votes that everyone was getting.  This was virtually the only third party app I could use for this type of contest to remain compliant with Facebook and there was no way for me to remove the "thumbs down" portion of the voting.  I hate that people actually felt the need to use it in a competition like this where we're all here for support, but they did.  I can assure you that any future promotions I run will NOT be using this app, I'll figure something else out.

To determine the final winner, a panel of 5 people will review each businesses essay for why they need a boost for their business.  Each business will be ranked, 1-5, 5 being the highest, and each number will give them that many points.  The business with the most points will be the winner.  I'll announce that as soon as each panelist gets back to me, hopefully tonight, but definitely by tomorrow.  Best of luck to you all!

*if you're wondering why your count is at 0, but you may have voted, it's because some businesses received thumbs down votes, cancelling out a thumbs up vote.  I do NOT like the thumbs down option, however, there's no way for me to remove it through this third party app, and because of Facebook's new promotions guidelines, a third party app is the only thing we can use for a contest of this type.

    Thats not fair you should have a redo, why should some of us suffer due to someones stupid reactions, I'm sorry but that just is not fair I had so many people come over in vote for me! I don't understand I really think that it was unfair and you should do another one on fb you could do a album with photo's and links and then people could go and like the pic's thats what I see everyone eles doing, I'm sorry If I came off rude I just don't think it was done fair and I'm sure lots others agree with me!
